About
OLEDSnap is a window manager for Macs with OLED displays, built in or external. It snaps windows into place with shortcuts and drag-to-edge, and moves every window a pixel at a time so static edges don't sit on the same OLED pixels for hours. Made by Pollard Labs LLC.
Facts
- Price
- $19 once. Up to 3 Macs per license. Free updates for version 1.
- Trial
- 14 days, every feature, no account or card.
- Refunds
- 30 days.
- Requires
- macOS 13 Ventura or later, and the Accessibility permission.
- Distribution
- Direct from oledsnap.com, signed and notarized by Apple. Not on the Mac App Store, because sandboxed apps can't move other apps' windows.
- Privacy
- No analytics or tracking in the app.
- Orbit
- Every window steps 1 px around a ±2 px square every 5 minutes, after a 3-second pause in typing and mouse input.
- Edge jitter
- Inner window edges vary by up to 3 px, changing once an hour. Edges against the screen border stay put.
- Idle dimming
- A 30% dimming overlay after 5 minutes without input.
- What it doesn't do
- It doesn't move the menu bar or the Dock, and it can't guarantee against burn-in.
Images
- App icon, 1024 × 1024 PNG
Screenshots and a short video will be added at launch.
