Privacy Policy

Last updated October 18, 2026

OLEDSnap is made by Pollard Labs LLC ("we"). We collect as little as possible. This policy covers the OLEDSnap app and the oledsnap.com website.

The app

• No analytics or tracking. The app doesn't report how you use it.
• Window control stays on your Mac. OLEDSnap uses macOS's Accessibility permission to move and resize windows. It does not record your screen, and window positions never leave your Mac.
• License checks. When you activate a license, the app sends your license key and your Mac's name to our payment provider, Lemon Squeezy, to verify it and to show you which Macs use your key. About once a week the app re-checks the key. No other information is sent.
• Free trial. The trial start date is stored in your Mac's Keychain. It never leaves your Mac.
• Settings sync. If you're signed in to iCloud, your shortcuts and settings sync between your Macs through your own iCloud account. We can't see that data.

Purchases

Purchases are processed by Lemon Squeezy, which acts as our reseller and merchant of record. Lemon Squeezy collects the details needed to process payment and taxes, under its own privacy policy. We receive your name, email address and order details so we can provide support and refunds. We never see your full payment card details.

The waitlist

If you join the waitlist, we store your email address and the date you joined. We use it only to tell you when OLEDSnap launches. We don't share it or sell it. To be removed, email [email protected].

The website

oledsnap.com is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes standard request information (such as IP address) to deliver and protect the site. The site sets no cookies and loads nothing from third parties.

Support email

If you email us, we keep the conversation so we can help you. We don't use it for anything else.

Your choices

You can ask us what information we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, by emailing [email protected]. Records of purchases may need to be kept for tax purposes.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update the date above. Significant changes will be announced on this site.
